complementary products under the Thistle (plaster products), Gyproc
(plasterboard products), Glasroc (specialist board products),
Gypframe (metal products) and Arteco (ceiling products) brands.
British Gypsum has built

and systems provide cost effective and warranted system solutions.

The company’s Drywall Academy has been providing technical
support and training in the selection, application and installation
of drywall systems for almost 50 years. The academy’s technical
advice centre receives around 10,000 enquiries per month, making it
the busiest in the construction industry.
Gypsum Industries
Gypsum Industries is a market leader in
plasterboard and plaster. They’ve been manufacturing in Ireland
since 1936, mining gypsum from a deposit at Knocknacran, County
Monaghan. From this raw material, an extensive range of
plasterboards and plasters are manufactured at their production
plant in Kingscourt, County Cavan.
All of Gypsum Industries’
products are specifically designed and formulated for the Irish
construction industry. Their plasterboards and plasters are
marketed under the Gyproc brand, although the company also
distributes Gypframe Metal, Gyproc Ceiling Products, Blue Hawk and
Artex DIY products.
